3D Website Design for Apple VisionOS

Augmented reality headsets enable a completely different form of website to exist. A web page no longer has to be constrained to a 2-dimensional screen. Instead, it can have display elements, widgets, and controls that are 3 dimensional. There are currently ZERO software developers with the skillset to create such websites, so I’m starting my exploration into developing sites for AR and VR experiences using Apple Vision OS.

This is a custom Jordan 12 design I created and modeled in Blender 3D. I’ll use this as a test product in my 3D Nike store.

Next I bring the model into Apple’s Reality Composer Pro and create a custom material and apply the image textures maps.

Next I set up code logic in Xcode to set up the navigation split view with clickable products, handle shoe model scaling and rotation.
